Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By purchasing, downloading, or using Talk2Text ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.

2. License Grant

Upon purchase, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, lifetime license to use the Software on up to two (2) Mac computers that you own or control. This license is perpetual — the version you purchase will work forever.

3. Updates

Your license includes one (1) year of software updates from the date of purchase. After the update period expires, the Software continues to function — you simply stop receiving new versions. You may renew your update entitlement for $39 per year at any time.

4. Restrictions

You may not:

• Redistribute, sublicense, resell, or share your license key
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Use the Software in any way that violates applicable law
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the Software

5. Intellectual Property

The Software and all associated intellectual property are owned by Talk2Text. Your license grants you the right to use the Software — it does not transfer ownership of any part of it.

6. No Warranty

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Talk2Text or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Software. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software.

8. Termination

We may terminate your license if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies in your possession. Sections 6, 7, and 9 survive termination.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
